CAF HISTORY
As people in the Cayman Islands were first diagnosed with AIDS, various support groups emerged. In the early 1990's, the Support network for AIDS Patients (SNAP) was established. This group then formed into Supporters of People Living with AIDS (SHIVA) to improve the quality of life of those infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. Then in July 2000, the group changed its name and became the Cayman Aids Foundation (CAF).
